Distinguish media practitioners, ladies and gentlemen; today is an auspicious day as we gather here to present NPP parliamentary nomination form to Hon. Sampson K. Nimako Darko.
Ladies and gentlemen, as it stands now, Sekondi needs a champion to replace Hon. Papa Owusu-Ankomah as MP and we, the leadership of coalition of Sekondi Youth Groups have found that champion in the person of Hon. Sampson K. Nimako Darko.
To start with, Hon Sampson K started his basic school at Presbyterian primary school near Sekondi Maxwell road and proceeded to Rev Akwa JSS also, at Sekondi Adiembra where he had his BECE Certificate after which He had admission at St Jonh's School near Bakaekyir in Sekondi as his first choice where he studied science.
Hon Sampson K had his tertiary education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) where he studied BSC. Degree in Mathematics program and is currently waiting to pursuit further academic programs.
Hon. Sampson K currently Assembly Member for Asafo Electoral Area here in Sekondi, is an astute politician with political track records such as: School Prefect at the Rev. Akwa J.S.S. Adiembra, a member of the St. John's School Athletics Theme, member of TESCON UCC, President of Mathematics Student Association of Ghana (MASAG) UCC 2007 to 2008, NPP Polling Station Chairman Well Road Primary, member of the Sekondi Constituency Communication team 2000 - 2004, member of NPP Western Regional Communication team 2006 till date, NPP Western Region Communications Director 2008 - 2010, Western Region Chairman Nana for President 2012 (NAFOP) and also a member 2012 Sekondi Constituency Campaign team.
Again, Hon. Sampson K has worked with almost all the past and current constituency executives from Ahanta West to Shama of the NPP. Meaning the Hon Assembly member is not a stranger to any of them.

As an outspoken F&A member, Hon. Sampson K was the main proponent for better condition of service for Hon. Assembly members to enable them do more for their communities and by that he was made secretary to the various committees that prepare the reports on his proposals which were eventually adopted by the S.T.M.A.
Hon. Sampson K is a leading member of the Sekondi Development Association an advocacy and development oriented group here in Sekondi.
He is the current Vice Chairman; Patrons and patroness Sekondi District Brigade.
He has done lots and loads of projects here in Sekondi and he is about doing more.
Hon. Sampson K was part of the team that brought cricket as a sporting discipline to the Western Region.
Hon. Sampson K is a member of that powerful group working to bring the Nigerian Cement producing giant 'Dangote Cement' led by the richest Blackman in Africa into the Western Region.
He facilitated in the establishment of the Sekondi market CHIPS Compound

Hon. Sampson K has assisted many parents here in Sekondi in paying their wards school fees and other academic user fees.
Hon. Sampson K has assisted in enrolling some Sekondi Youth in Schools and trade learning.
Hon. Sampson K has assisted some traders in their businesses financially.
Hon. Sampson K has created temporal jobs for some youths in Sekondi.
Hon. Sampson K has organized free classes for students here in Sekondi before and has plan organizing again and more.
With the assistance of Skyy Power FM and MTN Ghana, Hon. Sampson K has distributed free school bags to pupils in selected schools here in Sekondi.
Hon. Sampson K has brought and lead various medical team to come and screen the people of Sekondi and advice them of the various sicknesses and diseases free of charge.
Hon Sampson K has assisted many people here in Sekondi to settle their medical bills.
Hon. Sampson K is agile, respectful, docile, ubiquitous, friendly, accessible, selfless, affable, and ready to serve the good people of Sekondi.
Indeed I am much convinced that, everybody here is convinced about the champion we are looking for to replace Hon. Papa Owusu-Ankomah who is in the person of Hon. Sampson K.
It is also clear from above that, Hon. Sampson K is a team player, a mobilizer and a unifier.
So ladies and gentlemen, if today there is the need to present somebody to the august house of our country to represent the good people of Sekondi, then we the youth of Sekondi see no other person than Hon. Sampson K.
I will therefore take the singular honor to present this nomination form from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to Hon. Sampson K as our token for him to prepare to become the MP for Sekondi.
