...Reping Sekunde T'adi To The Full...! Part 1
21.04.2015 LISTEN

Just call me Sekunde Abr3ntse3 and T'adi Krakye. I am moved by Shasha Marley's 'Twin-City Mafia' track to write this article as a proud son of Sekondi-Takoradi, the twin-city of Ghana! It all started in Tema Community 5 some 18 years ago where I was born and bred for some 8 years.

Starting my education at Miracle Life International School (Tema C5), and then to Pentecost School (Tema C1), and later to Star Basic School (Tema C5) where I barely remember a good classmate, Audrey Narh.

Tema C5 families like the Bossman Family especially, the Ainooson Family, the Wilson Family, the Koomson Family etc all influenced the development of my childhood. Also, we moved to Ashaiman Zone 5 for close to 2 years in the household of Mr. Frimpong, and I attended St. Patrick Academy enjoying good friendship with my classmate, Emmanuel Opoku.

But I am now in Sekondi-Takoradi where my family roots are spread all over. My early life in the twin-city as a little boy at Essikado is defined by hustle and youthful bravado, and championing school stubborness back in West Ridge School! Fellow champions, Kadio Essoun, Bright Obed Amoo and Tom Laryea, and some schoolmates such as Joseph Awortwe Mennsah, Sekyi Opare and Lampross Ayensu would all attest to that historical fact.

Also, with nostalgia for the good old days in Essikado-Sekondi, I reminisce about walking to the Essipong Sports Stadium to watch premier league matches, sneaking out of school to go and pluck mangoes, partaking in Sekondi's Yesu As)r during Easter seasons, going on an outing to the Skyy Beach, and actively playing soccer as my favourite hobby.

Moreover, I completed my secondary education at the great St. John's School where I influenced the school's system with my religiosity, activism, dynamism and smartness! However, the saint john's spirit which shapes the masculinity of saints for them to develop a classic personality defines my way of life today. And shoutouts to dear schoolmates like Stephen Appiah, Richard Abakah and Gabriel Mills.

Lastly, my progressive article writing life hinges on divine grace through Pappy Kojo Realer No, my siblings (the A-Team: Amanda, Amy, Alvin and Audrey), Joseph Ernest Buah, Francis Papa Mensah, Edwin Opare, Sylvester Paa Buah, Jessica Abremah Buah, Winifred Diva-Cleopatra McQueen etc #RepingSekundeT'adi to the full on the international stage; @SIR_ARTICLE says so!
