The President of Breast Care International, a private organization based in Ghana, which is the most popular breast cancer advocacy organization in Ghana, Dr. (Mrs.) Beatrice Wiafe Addai who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Peace and Love Hospitals, has donated a set of CCT camera and dual beds that can accommodate sixty patients to the WillingWay Foundation Ghana, a rehabilitation center for Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Mental Patients and Destitute located Fumesua, Kumasi.

Presenting the items to the managers of the foundation, Dr Beatrice Wiafe Addai commended them for the zeal and commitment shown in turning around the lives of the patients who but for the center would have died in the worst state of their conditions, adding that proffering such a support is not only service to humanity but to God.

Doctor Wiafe Addai narrated that she found out the poor nature of the way the patients sleep when she visited the center some weeks ago with some foreign donors .That she was touched by seeing the patients sleeping on student mattresses and mats which were not laid on beds but the floor, and right there decided to provide them with the beds to ease their difficulty in sleeping comfortably and prevent the health risks in sleeping on the floor with mats and mattresses. "

...these are our children, our brothers, our sisters, our mothers and our fathers, and it is for some reasons that they are here, they are sick, they are not criminals, and even criminals have to be treated well...and so if they are sick why should they be lying on the floor...on the floor some can even get pneumonia and other diseases when it's cold...so it touched me and I promised them that I was going to provide them with beds..." she empathized.

The Consultant Breast Surgeon hoped that the CCT Camera given to the WillingWay Foundation would help the managers to monitor the movement of all patients and whatever happens at the center.

Dr Beatrice Wiafe Addai announced that WillingWay Foundation is one of the eighty one (81) institutions in Ghana who have been benefiting from the Direct Relief's supply of free medications for the needy and poor patients through the Peace and Love Hospitals over the years.

Receiving the sixty capacity dual beds and a set of CCTV Camera Manager of WillingWay foundation Madam Lydia Abena Manu expressed much appreciation to Dr (Mrs) Beatrice Wiafe Addai for always supporting the foundation in diverse ways and commended her for not selling the drugs to the center as others might have done.

That the center which started in the year 2011 and currently has fifty eight patients has been able to help several of its patients who are well and living successfully with their families.

She added her voice to the appeal to the president of the republic to help Dr Wiafe Addai retrieve the withheld imported drugs at the port and further asked that the government assisted the private rehabilitation centers.

The WillingWay Foundation Ghana's manager finally called on individuals and groups to come to the aid of her center which is now facing severe shortage of drugs, making the patients very aggressive, a situation that is very dangerous for the patients and workers at the center.
