Show Compassion to Ghanaians in South Africa, Diasporans Urged.

The President of the Ghanaian Community in France, GHACIF, Hon. Osei Mensah Michael who doubles as the Int. President of the Federation of Ghanaian Diaspora in Europe, FEGHADE, has asked Ghanaians living abroad to organise themselves in order to express remarkable compassion and solidarity to our compatriots living in South Africa.

Talking to ghanainfrance.com, he said there must be a solidarity move. Ghanaians living in South Africa are diasporans and they are going through the worst treatment that could be meted to foreigners.

He added that, apart from whatever the goverment of Ghana could do for its citizens living in the SA, it remains imperative that various Ghanaian diaspora groupings like Churches, Associations and Traditional leadership come out with messages of sympathy and also material support for eventual victims.

He adviced that security and rescue squads should be set up by Ghanaian leaderships and the Embassy diasporan desks in all countries of difficult living.

Hon. Osei Mensah said his heart is with all Ghanaians and other foreigners who are either victims or living in fear in South Africa and other countries of insecurity.

He has promised to take the issue up with GHACIF and FEGHADE as early as possible.
