Bravo! WESCO, for hooting At Okudjato Abrakwa and His Cohorts- STUNNAD

With the abysmal performance of the NDC Mahama-led administration in the Educational sector and the numerous unfulfilled promises to Teachers both trainees and professionals, it came as no surprise when trainee teachers at Wesley College of Education in Kumasi chose to be hostile towards the Deputy Ministers of Education, Samuel Okudjato Abrakwa and his entourage for their propaganda outreach called 'campus connect'.

After promising the good people of Ghana "quality education", the NDC government has successfully delivered "an expensive and poor educational system". The paradox is that we have an Educationist as the Minister for Education yet teaching and learning materials are not sent to schools on time and in some cases, those materials do not go at all; Instead of filling the about 60,000 vacancy in the educational sector, pupil's teachers are sacked with no replacement plan; Laptops meant for ICT teachers found their way to party surrogates; allowances promised teachers in the 2012 manifesto of JM remains unhonored. And the government crowns it all by the cancellation of allowance paid to trainee teachers. In spite of all these, they find no shame to go round universities and colleges with their lies.

There is a bigger picture that John Mahama must be weary off. Next time the hooting would be at him. The people of Ghana are fast loosing trust in his administration because of his non-performance, the gross impunity with which your appointees rape the state coffers, your lack of action thereafter and your nauseating rhetoric of "there is no money, there is no money" yet monies are stolen day in and day out at the seat of government'

Nana Addo on the other as proven to be incorruptible and provides hope for the people of Ghana and the failing educational sector. He has said time without number that he will restore the allowances of trainee teachers and trainee nurses since it sometimes remain the only source of livelihood for some of the trainees. He still remains committed to the ensuring the basic school is extended to the High School level and also to make sure that every Ghanaian child has access to free and quality education up to the High School level.

Nana Addo and the NPP believes strongly that Ghana can work again when the right leadership is in place. In Nana Addo and the NPP, that is the option we provide to this repugnant and inept NDC administration.
