Should the Church be involved in politics? Yes, the Church should be involved in politics! I know my answer has sparked your curiosity but it still remains my candid opinion. Politics is very broad in every sense of this noun, and I even think governance is a product of politics since politics in its entirety is everywhere.
Moreover, the Church which is the Body of Christ and the God's Kingdom on earth should be involved in politics especially governance but not with partisanship. The Church must do so to protect and promote its holy interests against the machinations of demonic forces working in governments! After all, the Church is apparently in the majority among the Ghanaian populace.
Also, why should the Church be an aloof institution for homosexuality to be eventually legalised in our country? And irrespective of the fact that we are Children of God, we are also citizens so the politics of our country affects our lives. Therefore, we must demand accountability from our politicians and challenge them to do what is right!
