Rape Girl Exposed!

Information reaching DAILY GUIDE indicates that the alleged kidnapping and gang raping of the Takoradi-based YFm radio presenter, Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka, also called Ada, was staged.

DAILY GUIDE gathered that the whole incident was a prank, well crafted and staged and that there was no iota of truth in the story as allegedly narrated by Ada.

According to sources, the radio presenter, who had been calling herself Ada, with Nigerian accent, has been identified as Akosua Apea who comes from Oda in the Eastern Region.

It has been revealed that the suspected imposter purportedly contacted a syndicate and hired them to stage the act for an alleged publicity stunt.

One of the suspects is said to have been arrested and currently being kept in the cell of the Accra Central Police Station.

According to an unconfirmed report, the whole incident happened at a hotel close to the Abossey Okai Total filling station in Accra where those alleged rapists carried out the act with approval by Ada.

According to the hotel manager who is said to have submitted a written statement to the police, Ada checked into a room in the facility under the guise of shooting a movie.

She paid to use the facility for an unspecified number of days.

Members of the said syndicate then allegedly used an internet caf'' at Zongo Junction to post the nude pictures of Ada on her facebook wall with her connivance.

DAILY GUIDE learnt that one of the alleged rapists is a known character in the area, and a police informant gave a tip-off to the security agents which led to his arrest.

He therefore enacted what transpired to the police, leading to the IGP, Mohammed Alhassan, calling for the case to be transferred to the Police CID Headquarters from Takoradi.

A police source told DAILY GUIDE that at about 2pm yesterday, while the alleged rape victim was at the GHAPOHA hospital in Takoradi, a police armour vehicle went to the health facility and took her to Accra ostensibly for further investigation.

Police and doctors in the Western Region reportedly claim they had concluded investigation into the matter and that it was revealed that the incident was planned and acted out.

'So all this while her employers knew her as Ada not knowing she is a Ghanaian called Akosua,' a resident in Takoradi wondered.

When DAILY GUIDE called Supt. Reuben Asiwoko, Western Regional Crime Officer, for his comment on the issue, he told the paper that the police were meeting on it.

Boyfriend
Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Rahman Nunoo, had in an earlier interview raised doubts over the authenticity of the story, confirming that she acted the scene in order to get him back from the strained relationship.

According to him, Ada has a history of such kidnapping claims, all of which happened under 'doubtful' circumstances, adding that 'When you ask her, she becomes furious.'
