General News 'Fraudster' Adoley Brown in trouble as Police find fake visa forms at her residence
APR 2, 2015 LISTEN

The Police have found incriminating documents at the residence of Cindy Naa Adoley Brown, the lady at the centre of a US visa racketeering scandal.

A police search of the Mataheko residence of the suspect revealed multiple fake US visa application forms, two passports suspected to be for the victims and some refusal letters, Myjoyonline.com has gathered.

Raymond Abonoo , the CID officer in charge of the case would not confirm the exact nature of the documents retrieved from the residence, except to say the police found "evidence relating to the case" and "will use it against the suspect."

Adoley Brown is accused of defrauding over 225 victims when she promised to give them US visas to travel to the world's most powerful country.

She had collected monies from the victims with the promise to give them the visas but her luck run out and she was arrested thanks to the vigilance of a police detective.

Cindy Naa Adoley Brown was granted a ¢30,000 bail with four sureties, following her arrest, but she has failed to meet the bail conditions and, therefore, remains in custody.

Myjoyonline.com 's sources say lawyers for the suspect are seeking a review of the bail conditions but have yet to make any headway.

Passport pictures
Some of the victims are crying for the return of the passport pictures they submitted to Naa Adoley Brown.

They say they do not feel safe when their faces and identities are still in the possession of the self-styled evangelist.

They do not understand why the passports pictures are still in the possession of the suspected fraudster.

They suspect Adoley Brown may use the pictures for spiritual activities after several attempts to retrieve them proved futile.

Adoley Brown claims the passport pictures are in the custody of the US Embassy, a claim Myjoyonline.com cannot independently verify.
