Hope Generation Ministry ordains pastors

Accra, March 31, GNA — Prophet Dr Eric Nana Kwasi Amponsah, General Overseer of Hope Generation Ministry International, has urged religious leaders to desist from all forms of negative tendencies that may bring the clergy into disrepute.

He noted that acts such as corruption, fraud and adultery which were being committed by men of God and the practice of occultism, were tarnishing the image of the clergy.

Prophet Amponsah made the call at the ordination of four pastors of the church at Oblogo-Manchester near Weija, in the Greater-Accra Region.

They were Reynolds Boadi Sarpong, Israel Coffie, and Benjamin Kwesi Mensah Botchwey, who were ordained as Reverend Ministers, while Happy Aku Tordzro was ordained as Prophetess.

Prophet Amponsah, popularly known as 'Computer Man,' urged the newly-ordained pastors to desist from the get-rich-quick attitude, and be addicted to the word of God, which he said would guide them in their entire priesthood.

He disclosed that the church had acquired a large tract of land at Akoti Junction, near Winneba in the Central Region, where a school and hospital will be built, to cater for the educational and health needs of the poor and the needy.

The General Overseer appealed to drivers to desist from overloading, and driving under the influence of alcohol, to avoid accidents during the Easter festivities.

The Reverend Reynolds Boadi Sarpong, on behalf of the newly-ordained pastors, pledged their commitment to God, and promised to win more souls for Christ.
