In a quest to improve the recent fall in BECE examination records in Ghana, Synergy for Success-Ghana is set to begin its annual examination and career mentorship tour of deprived communities in the country for the iCAN Examination Mentorship, 2015.

The program which has been running for 3 consecutive years has chalked great successes in helping improve examination and career choice records as most benefitted schools have had high enrolment of their students into SHS successfully.

The program recruits volunteers, who are experts in various subjects for a weeklong stay in the focused area where they engage candidates in rigorous revision exercise together with career mentorship.

First on the bill to benefit this year will be Wheta in the Ketu North District in the Volta Region. The team will deploy trained volunteers to assist candidates in their various subjects.

In a chat with the young Executive Director of the organisation, Ebenezer Essuman he opined, “I am really excited about this project and hopefully, we are going to make an immense impact than the previous editions as we have always seek to improve what we do”.

Other regions to be visited includes; Central, Eastern and Greater Accra regions.

This year's initiative is in partnership with Pass A Book On Foundation with support from Marshalls Impact Network, Ace Ghana, Torkan Books, Talent Hunt, KCEE and SSk Akpah Foundation
