Bank of Africa Ghana has relocated its Sokoban Branch to Kejetia to enhance its operations in the Ashanti Region. The relocation of the branch from Sokoban to Kejetia is to allow Bank of Africa to offer quality service to customers in Kejetia and its environs.

Alex Agyei-Amponsah, the Head of Retail Banking, expressed optimism that the relocation of the bank would further draw the cherished customers closer to the bank.

The bank, as part of the inauguration of the new branch, organised free health screening for customers and the residents.

They undertook a clean-up exercise at Kejetia.
Mr. Agyei-Amponsah said the bank also intends to organise the exercise on a regular basis across its branch network nationwide and would introduce additional eye and glucose screening.

The Branch Manager, Felix Osom Boafo, also promised that the clean-up and free health screening exercise would be carried out periodically in partnership with the MCEs, DAs and Zoomlion.

An account opening drive to market the bank's  'My Business Pack' product was also undertaken with several branded gifts such as aprons, plastic fans, T-shirts and baseball caps given out to people.

The product, which targets operators in the informal sector, is 100% fee-free. It aims at motivating operators in the informal sector to save to enable them grow their businesses.

Bank of Africa has operated in Ghana since 2011.

The Bank of Africa Group has presence in 14 other African countries, namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda.
