A Kumasi Based Building Contractor Prepares Possible Ebola And Cholera Diseases For Ashanti Region

Court chases a contractor in Kumasi with a bench warrant for arrest. Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Court, has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of a Kumasi based building contractor, who allegedly simply dumped contaminated piles of refuse at the Kumasi Sofo-Line Market.

According to sources from the Sanitation Unit of the KMA, Emmanuel Boateng, the contractor with support from some greedy Police Officers, just dumped about 12 separate heap of heaps of deadly refuse likely to generate dangerous diseases like Ebola and Cholera in the Region at the Kumasi Sofo-Line market about some weeks ago.

From sources a bench warrant was issued because the contractor, Emmanuel Boateng had failed to appear before the court in Kumasi after several notices served.

The contractor, Boateng has made the sanitation situation at the market very bad to an extent that if a quicker action is not taken could lead to the outbreak of dangerous diseases.

The inhumane action of Emmanuel Boateng is not only a sabotage but was also contrary to efforts by the President, John Dramani Mahama, to promote environmental cleanliness throughout the country.
