2 New Dces Sworn In At Tamale Rcc

Two new DCEs have been sworn inn today Monday 02 of March 2015 at the Tamale Regional Coordinating Council by the Northern Regional Minister, Alhaji Limuna Mohammed.

The Newly sworn DCEs are Hon Timothy Sampoa Laari, District Chief Executive of the Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District and Hon David Wuni, District Chief Executive for the West Mamprusi District (Walewale).

The two DCEs after going through the constitutional process by the regional Minister, thanked the Minister and his deputy and appeal for their support to enable them run their administrations.

Hon Timothy Sampoa Laari who spoke on behalf of his colleague , revealed that, he and Hon David Wuni were class mates and intimate friends at Bimbilla Training college, He however noted that, political post , if care is not taken makes one to behave like a drunkard who speaks any how without notice, on this note, I want to appeal to you Hon Minister and your able Deputy to keep us on track never to get drunk with our post.

Our best would be put in the office entrusted to us by the President and work constitutionally to meet the better Ghana Agenda dream.

Mr. Timothy, said all though mankind has played his role in their appointment, God in heaven made everything possible, therefore his believe is that, God will give them the Supreme wisdom they need to perform well in their respective districts.

The two new DCE were both staffs of the Ghana Education Service in their respective districts before their new job.

Hon Limuna Mohammed Muniru, Northern Regional Minister advised the newly sworn DCEs to respect their constituency party executives, while the Party executives should also desist from chasing DCEs for moneys that do not exist.

He indicated that, NDC has already won the 2016 general election, and what the NDC party needs to do is to remain united and help DCEs, MPs and Minister to perform their constitutional duties.

Both party executives from Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo and West Mamprusi accompanied the DCEs for the Swearing In ceremony.

The event which took less than 1 hour, saw the presents of Hon A.B.A Fusieni, Deputy Northern Regional Minister and Mp for Sagnarigu Constituency, Hon Joseph Naabu, Mp for Yunyoo Constituency, Hon DCE for Bimbilla, Hon MCE for Yendi, Hon Philip Laari, former DCE for Bunkpurugu, Hon Dr Bension Konlan, Presiding Member for Bunkpurugu, and several friends and classmates of the two DCEs.
