Wontumi Gets A Lifeline

Wontumi Gets A Lifeline

The Constitution

It is unconstitutional for a President paid with the taxpayer's money to file lawsuit against Wontumi. The same applies to immediate members of his family or his political party. He draws salary from Wontumi.

Ghana is a democracy and not a Communist dictatorship or a dynasty. We govern by the rule of law as enshrined in the Constitution. Where in the Constitution does it say that both the NDC president and his brother can file lawsuit for a so-called defamation when the defendant is actually speaking the truth?

Do you know what people say about the President of the most successful democracy in the world? Sometimes I read some of these comments and I begin to feel sorry for those responsible for it. But he has no power to react since he swore the oath to serve all only and not to file lawsuit against dissenters.

We are following the Wontumi Court proceedings and will react at the appropriate time.

NDC is a Communist Party

Not long ago, a Western Diplomat in Accra tweeted about the vast amount of money stashed by the NDC President but calling on Ghanaians to tighten their belts and his NDC members went into a frenzy calling for an uprising against this Western Embassy.

What the world does not know is that the NDC President is the black Fidel of Ghana.

Wontumi, a staunch member of the opposition NPP made remarks about the NDC, the third most corrupt government in the world, to tone down on corruption. Then black Raul gets incensed and files a lawsuit of Ghc 5 million (US$1.5 million dollars) against Wontumi for slighting big brother black Fidel, in a country where the average salary for a worker is US100.00 (hundred) a month.

This case has been adjourned to May 19. 2015 and we invite the international community to follow it. Everything will be posted on the website of Amnesty International and other Human Rights Groups to portray NDC as a Communist party where you cannot criticize the leader.

This black Raul is the same person who defied the US, the UN and the international community and went into brisk business transporting gold in a chartered plane to a Middle Eastern country placed under UN sanctions, all with the blessings of black Fidel who rigged Election 2012 to come into power.

He has sworn to stay in power until 2020 since he has already bribed Election officials with money accrued from the lucrative cocaine business done through Diplomatic channels.

Violation of UN sanctions
Both the NDC president and his brother are being sought by the international community for violating UN sanctions against a country in the Middle East using a chartered plane to fly tons of Akan gold there. This illegal business earned them hundreds of millions of dollars which they invested in Dubai.

As soon as a court verdict is reached in the Wontumi case, we will resurrect this matter and call for their arrest by the international community and the freezing of their assets in Dubai since it was ill-gotten money from the illegal trade with a country under UN sanctions. Both of them should be placed on the no-fly list. Some of their money was diverted to banks in the West African French-speaking CFA zone.

Persona-non-grata in Akan regions
Both the NDC president and his brother will be declared persona-non-grata in the Akan regions come 2016—one for ordering the hit on peaceful demonstrators at Kenyasi in February 2014. Some died and scores were maimed. Hello, International Criminal Court?

His brother for setting up mining operations on Akan land without proper documentation, tax evasion stealing our gold and selling it to a country placed under UN sanctions. His company faces a fine of US$20 million. Welcome to the numbers game! He sued Wontumi for a whopping US$1.5million.

We also call on that Akan leader who is so corrupt and disrespected he could not solve Wontumi's case to abdicate now—at least that will bring respect to the Stool and the Akan people. Throughout history it has always been like that. The moment your popularity sags, you give way to another person.

People should know that with all his MONEY he has no power. It is those with KNOWLEDGE who have power and we have thrown a lifeline to Wontumi to rescue him. We have voice for the common man.

Wontumi, you are not alone
Someone wrote an article the Akans should help Wontumi and that really touched me. You are not alone. There are millions behind you. You are a small fire that is lit, spreading and will consume these NDC folks. I admire your courage and that of the Assin MP. Keep on the good work! You guys should work hard to get rid of the corrupt and divisive Diawuo faction and their Number 9 'founding' member.

NPP should refund all his monthly dues paid so far and buy him a one-way ticket to Aflao. Akan resources are for the development of the Akan region. What part of this that he does not understand?

Under the Houphouet Law, we have to build an Akan capital between Kumasi and Takoradi as legacy for the present and future generations to know what we did with our wealth. This will accelerate the development of our region creating millions of permanent jobs.
