The United Ghanaians Association of South Florida (UGASF) invites all friends and well-wishers to Ghana's Independence Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 6.00 pm - 11.30 pm. The event takes place at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road, Delray Beach, Fl 33446.
It will be an evening showcasing Ghana's rich cultural heritage with colorful procession of chiefs and queens amidst traditional drumming and dancing; with an early buffet dinner to start at 7.00 pm. The celebration will be climaxed by dancing to hi-life, hip-life, azonto, among other music. Attendees are advised to bring their dancing shoes to an evening full of dancing and socials, and free of speeches.
There is an opportunity to carry home a television set from a raffle draw as part of fundraiser activities to support medical supplies and equipment for health centers in deprived communities in Ghana.
It is important to contact the organizers to reserve your seat, as space is limited. Avoid the risk of obtaining your ticket at the door.
