Prayers For The Deaths Of Our Enemies Are Some Of The Greatest Prayers To The True Lord God Almighty In The Holy Bible

Prayers For The Deaths Of Our Enemies Are Some Of The Greatest Prayers To The True Lord God Almighty In The Holy Bible
26.02.2015 LISTEN

Misery and despondency were etched out in all our faces. We were all running away from the lands of our births. The Liberians were fleeing from the internecine war brewing in their native lands between the forces of President Samuel Kanyon Doe who was being propped up by ECOMOG against Charles Taylor and Yormie Johnson rebels; the Togolese opposition led by slain President Sylvanus Olympio's first son had just escaped into exile from the autocratic hands of Gnassingbe Eyadema; the refugees who were running from the bloodthirsty hands of the Butcher of Kinshasa, Mobutu SeseZeko of Zaire (now renamed back to its original name of the Democratic Republic of Congo) and me, Moshood Ademola Fayemiwo, who had just escaped with my family from Nigeria into exile from the bloodsucking fangs of the Madman of Aso Rock, Sani Abacha. It was at the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Accra, Ghana in early 1996. I was the one who started it all. I asked the Congolese in exile why they couldn't do something about Mobutu Sesezeko, a tyrant who had mismanaged and messed up their lives for three decades. “Instead of you guys to remove Mobutu, you're all running into exile, why can't you do something about your dictator?” I asked unabashedly. The Congolese looked at me scornfully and threw it back right at my face in like manner: “Why are you running away from Abacha too who is oppressing you guys in Nigeria?” Fair question, I presumed and went further to lecture them thus: “Mobutu has been making a mess of your lives for three decades and you guys can't do anything about it, but you'll see what will happen to our own dictator, Sani Abacha. No dictator can last long in Nigeria, because the Christians in Nigeria are vibrant and alive to their responsibilities. You'll soon hear how we'll remove Sani Abacha.” Two years later, Sani Abacha was gone; no single shot was fired and no military coup took place, but the Providential Hands of the True Lord God Almighty.

This week is the second week of the 21-Day Intercessory Prayer that the Holy Spirit directed me to declare on the “troublers” of Nigeria and how to rout them out. I rolled out the names of those that we should kill in Nigeria, if we are to make progress as a nation. Many have called and some have written debating whether it is scriptural to take out our enemies. “After all, the Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray for our enemies,” someone queried. In Matthew 5: 43-we read thus: “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” The names of the “troublers” of Nigeria that I disclosed last week didn't make any of them my enemies. They are not my political opponents, because I am not contesting for any elective position or office in Nigeria. I don't even live inside Nigeria. There are other enemies of Nigeria too, besides the names that I gave in this column last week. May be you too can come up with a new list of your own “bad guys” of Nigeria, which should include the one who promised the other day to run into exile after May 29, 2015.

In any nation, town, city, community, village, settlement, or family, when evil people are in ascendancy, if you are a genuine child of the Living God, you have the spiritual power to stop and push away the power of darkness. It's the level you want evil to fester around you that evil will rule and control events and circumstances around you. This is also a spiritual law. Each time I speak with my fellow Nigerians and what they are doing about the level of evil and demonic activities in our land, all I hear is: “Ah, God will help us o!” But most of these people clearly do not understand how the Sovereign Lord God Almighty operates in the universe. They have forgotten that if we human beings do not lift a finger here on earth over any unpleasant situation confronting us, He the Lord God Almighty will not lift a finger in heaven too. That was why our Lord Jesus Christ gave us-redeemed and regenerated born-again children of the Living God- power, authority and dominion over the forces of evil and darkness. He told us in Mathew 28: 18-20: “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Authority is the legal instrument needed to exercise power and the powers that our Lord Jesus Christ delegated to us in that Matthew 28 scriptures quoted above are as follows as explicated in Mark 16: 15-18 thus: “He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” The first delegated power given to us-you and I –as born-again children of the Most High God is the ability to drive out demons. I have no other description for those curmudgeons destroying Nigeria than demonic agents. When you see how these thugs and scallywags are amassing unearned wealth and shake your head, if they ever think about the brief life of Sani Aabacha with all the billions he stole and didn't spend, you will then understand that these idiots are indeed demon possessed. And what do they spend all these illicit and stolen money on: cars, sex, houses, voodoo and inanities, making you to wonder the idiocy of these wretched Nigerians. This is where you and I as children of the True Lord God Almighty come in. We have the power to stop such nonsense in our nation.

Throughout the entire Bible, the Jehovah Lord Almighty never responded to people's cries over evil, oppression, slavery, maltreatment, and all forms of injustice based on emotions and needs. He only responded to people's faith, period! He still does that today, because He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13: 8). Some born-again children of the Most High here on earth are completely oblivious of the tremendous powers that the Lord Jesus Christ had delegated to us as His ambassadors and representatives on earth. “Whatever we bind on earth,” we are told in Matthew 18: 18” shall be bound in heaven and likewise, whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

The demon possessed elements retarding the progress of Nigeria will continue until genuine children of the Most High God who know the God they are serving get up from their slumber and say, “No, we shall not take this anymore,” rather than continue to complain. We must do something about the mess going on in Nigeria and as a born-again child of the Living God, you can get down on your knees and entreat the Sovereign Lord of the heavens and earth to stretch out His Powerful Hands into the messy situation in our country and wipe out the “bad guys.” I have never seen any nation that turns out for good without undergoing spiritual revival. Not until you and I are determined to change Nigeria for good will evil and darkness recede in our nation. Satan doesn't listen to pleas and begging. The forces of Good and Evil don't negotiate. Evil people cannot be placated; Satan and his demons and human agents are like goats; you need to whack and beat them senselessly with whips before they let go. We are in that stage right now in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

People often wonder and ask: if the True Lord God Almighty is Good, and He is; Loving, and He is; Compassionate, and He is; and He is God of Justice, and He is; why then does He not protect poor people from their oppressors. Why does He allow an evil man like Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida for instance to continue to live in spite of the monumental lives this evil man has wasted and murdered in Nigeria? Why did God Almighty look on at a tyrant like Mobutu Sesezeko of Zaire who killed, murdered, butchered and destroyed numerous lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo in his nearly four decades of carnage and destruction in that nation? Why did He watch Gnassingbe Eyadema of Togo commit horrendous evil against the Togolese people for forty agonizing years? This was precisely what I was getting at when I told the Congolese fleeing from their nation from the murderous hands of Mobutu that, unlike Congolese who are spiritually complacent and the Christians in that nation were at ease on Mt. Zion, Nigerian Christians, on the other hand, are active and vibrant and will cry unto the True Lord God Almighty and remove any dictator from Nigeria. This is the spiritual secret of the so-called resilience of Nigerians. This was why Mobutu was able to oppress the Congolese people for nearly forty years and Eyadema put pepper into the eyes of the Togolese people for five decades but when Abacha tried to do the same in Nigeria, he was a goner. A week before he died in 1998, Abacha summoned all his clerics and Mullahs and asked them what would stand in his way of self-succession as a military head of state turned civilian president. Abacha's Mullahs told him off pat, “As long as a man called Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was still in Nigeria praying, it would be difficult for him to pull it off.” Abacha was planning to order Adeboye's arrest on June 10, 1998 but the tyrant breathed his last on June 8, 1998. At the same time while Abacha was planning to succeed himself in 1998, I told all the inmates at the DMI, Park Lane Apapa Lagos underground cell where I was chained and quarantined that Abacha was a dead meat, a year prior to his actual demise on June 8, 1998.

If you read the Holy Bible thoroughly and allow the Holy Spirit to minister unto you, you will discover that, the Almighty God would never lift a finger over any person's problems if He was not called unto any situation. This is a spiritual law. Even though He is Sovereign, He will never and has never injected Himself into any situation on this earth unless called and entreated by us-human beings. Whether in your life, your family, village, town, city or nation, the True Lord God Almighty of the Holy Bible Who we worship and serve has not, will not and will never come into any situation unless He is called upon, prayed to or entreated, period! That was why He said in 2 Chronicles 7: 14: “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Do you read that again? Did you see that God never said, if any human being, rather, my people-Christians-will do those four things; humble themselves, pray, seek His face and turn from sinning and then He would come into their situations. When a witch or wizard is terrorizing your family, rather than lament or run away abroad, confront that Satan's agent with the Power of the Most High God and take the wizard or witch out. If there is a tyrant or an autocrat who is feeling more than ten feet tall in your nation, like Abacha in the 1990s, rather than wring your hands in despair and say cheekily as Nigerians often say: “God go help us o,”, go to the Almighty God in His tabernacles in heaven, cry unto Him and invite Him into Nigeria and command Him as He said in His Words in Isaiah 45: 11” Command Ye Me as to the works of My hands” and ask Him to take out such a tyrant and bloodsucking dictator. He did to Abacha. That is why I told President Goodluck Jonathan in my private letter to him that if he toys with any idea of staying beyond May 29, 2015, he's a goner. If he tries to rig and manipulate the forthcoming Saturday March 28, 2015 presidential election, he will not live to enjoy it. Aliyu Muhammad-Gusua, Sambo Dasuki and the other demonic agents that surround him and egging him on behalf of their principal, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida will soon see what God Almighty will do in Nigeria. Let Jonathan and the rest demonic agents that surround him postpone and postpone the election every day, but he-Jonathan- cannot survive it. Sani Abacha tried it and he's dead!

The Lord God Almighty told Moses in the land of Midian in Exodus 3: 7-10: “The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” These were people that were being oppressed for several hundreds of years, but the Lord God Almighty did not rescue them until; “…God heard them crying…” and “…And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them.” Hear here now and clear; whatever you're going through, the Almighty God is not obligated to help you if you don't cry unto Him, period! Mobutu Sesezeko, Gnassingbe Eyadema and other tea pot dictators in Africa and around the world visited unimaginable horrors and murderous activities on their country men and women, because the Christians in those nations didn't cry out to the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Sani Abacha could not pull off his autocratic and demonic agendas in Nigeria because the Christians in Nigeria cried unto the True Lord God Almighty and He showed up on June 8, 1998 and took out the murderous cretin. Actually, He showed some of us what He was about to do 12 months before it occurred on June 8, 1998 and told me to use it to preach for a year at DMI, Apapa, Lagos, Nigeria because, as He said in Amos 3: 7: “Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”

You and I have the spiritual right, spiritual powers and spiritual authority to tell the Lord God Almighty to take the lives of your enemies, after they become incorrigible. The last prayer of Samson on earth was a prayer to God to kill his enemies in Judges 16: 28: “Then Samson prayed to the LORD, "Sovereign LORD, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just once more, and let me with one blow get revenge on the Philistines for my two eyes." And the Lord God Almighty answered Samson's prayer in the same chapter Judges 16: 30: “Then he pushed with all his might, and down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more when he died than while he lived.”

Leaf through all the songs of King David known as the Book of Psalms, none of his songs was a kumbaya to his enemies. In Psalm 35: 1, David entreated the Lord thus: “Contend, Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me.” When you go further in that Psalm 35 to the 4th verse, David even told the Lord with what instrument He should kill his enemies: “Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me.” Throughout the 28 verses of that Psalm 35, King David was unkind and unloving toward all his enemies. Spear and javelin are not for decoration, but for killing and murder! In Psalm 143: 12, King David was direct without mincing words; “In your unfailing love, silence my enemies; destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.” How about Psalm 71, Psalm 59 and others? Yes, we can ask the Lord God Almighty to destroy and kill our enemies after the Lord God Almighty has given such enemies ample opportunities, time and time again and over and over again but they refuse to mend their wicked and forsake their evil ways. In fact, the True Lord God Almighty wanted us to include this in our prayer requests; otherwise He would not have told King Solomon in 2 Chronicles 1: 11-12: “God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.”

In 2 Chronicles 32, Sennacherib, the king of Assyria threatened Israel during the time of Hezekiah. The boastful king was a formidable enemy to Hezekiah and so Hezekiah and one of the Lord's prophets-Isaiah, son of Amoz- took the case to the True Lord God Almighty and here was the secret of their success against Sennacherib as recorded in verses 21 and 22: “King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. And the LORD sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons, his own flesh and blood, cut him down with the sword.”

There were two of the most despicable couples in human history known as Mr. Ahab and Mrs. Jezebel Ahab of Israel. Egged on by his Jezebel wife, the eldest daughter of Ethbaal, King of Sidon; King Ahab rendered many women widows, children were turned into orphans and innocent blood shed during his atrocious reign in Israel. After the Lord God Almighty gave the devilish couple time to repent and they refused correction, the Lord God Almighty sent one of His prophets to an army captain called Jehu to take out Jezebel. Read 2 Kings 9: 5-7: “When he came, behold, the captains of the army were sitting, and he said, "I have a word for you, O captain." And Jehu said, "For which one of us?" And he said, "For you, O captain." Jehu got up and went into the house. Then the prophet poured the oil on Jehu's head and declared, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'I anoint you king over the LORD's people Israel. You shall strike the house of Ahab your master, that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel…” And that was what Jehu did as commanded by the Lord God Almighty through the mouth of one of His prophets. The Lord God Almighty didn't tell the Israelites to pray for a wicked queen like Jezebel; rather she died unwept and unmissed. Did we not have such wicked couple in Nigeria of recent memory? Should we pray for such wicked people who caused Funmi, the young wife of late Dele Giwa to become a widow? Are we to pray for such demonic people who turn Giwa's children into orphans in their prime when God Almighty said in Exodus 22: 22-24: “Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.” Should we pray for Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida for the children of Mamman Vatsa that he turned into orphans? Should we pray for this wicked man for the lives of Gideon Orkah and others he murdered and turned their wives into widows? How can we be so forgetful? All those who are troubling Nigeria and have bandied together to retard the progress of our nations must be taken out this year, this month, this season, this week, this hour and this minute and this second by the Lord God Almighty in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

So when our Lord Jesus Christ told us to pray for our enemies in Matthew 5: 43, have you ever asked yourself, what type of prayer He wanted us to pray for our enemies? Search throughout the scriptures and connect the dots. Consequently, as we progress in our 21-Day prayer intercession on behalf of our nation Nigeria, wherever you are as a Nigerian, print out the prayer as published last week in this column, and say out loud the names of those listed in the prayer and add your own list of names of Nigerians you know are evil and watch the Hand of the Sovereign Lord God Almighty move in our fatherland. He did it before and as surely as He lives and His Glory fills both the heavens and the earth, watch out for His intervention in the affairs of Nigeria between now and May 29, 2015. This year will be different and we shall sing a new song in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
