TWO MEDIA Institutions in Ghana will soon launch a new pre-paid Internet Card for Internet users in the country. The new Internet prepaid card is a concept developed by Fruit of the Spirit co. Ltd. in collaboration with Africanus net in Accra.
Speaking to newsmen in Accra, the Managing Director of Fruit of The Spirit Co. Ltd., Bernard Okyere-Mensah, stated that the prepaid internet cards were expected to be sold to the public at a modrate price after the launch and each card could be used for 10 hours by the users.
Mr. Okyere-Mensah said, with the new internet prepaid card, the global internet comes to all individual users of internet in Ghana.
This, he said, was to promote the use of expansion of the internet system in Ghana.
Mr. Okyere-Mensah added that villages and towns which had computers could easily have access to the internet, provided they were connected to the national electricity grid.
He advised all media houses, students of ICT and computer users to study computer network system very well to enable the two media institutions help them through the pre-paid internet card throughout the country.
