The French ambassador to Ghana Frederic Clavier has revealed that a delegation of 50 investors from France is expected in the country in April.

The ambassador in an exclusive interview with Joy News said the business delegation would invest in a number of areas with agriculture being the prime interest.

Frederic Clavier said the project is aimed at empowering civil society organizations and non-governmental organizations to play a watchdog role by impressing on duty bearers to work within the remit of the principles of rule of law.

The three phase project according to the ambassador, would support a total of eight Non-Governmental Organisations and Civil Society Groups with best business plans to be executed in eight districts across the country.

The ambassador also hinted that the investors would among other things explore the agro business and manufacturing sectors of the economy.
