The running mate of Nana Akufo Addo, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia today joined the part 2 of the "Yabr3" [we are tired] demonstration by the Ashanti Region branch of the New Patriotic Party which is a continuation of the "won gbo" demonstration embarked on the NPP some few day ago.

But there is an adage in Akan which says; AKOKO ANTWIWAA BESA ABU NE PA DWE DWE SENARA A ENNYE AKROMA FE DA," to wit, “no matter how beautifully the hen will dance, it will never please the hawk”. Why? Because the hawk just doesn't like the hen, and wants to eat it.

The imperative that “WOTAN OKWADUO A WOYI NE MMIRIKA”, literally, “no matter how much you hate the duiker, you have to give it credit for its speed”.

So it is not surprising that after the Accra one they were not satisfied with it , so decided to use Kumasi for their second demonstration , something that is their legitimate right but we know that there's no demonstration against President Mahama that they wouldn't join trust me , they would pour out with their numerical strength. All I can say is that Ayekoo.

I recall that last year when President John Mahama addressed party supporters at the Regional Coordinating Council in Kumasi they doctored his speech and used it against him saying that he was igniting ethno-tribal sentiments.

Today they are praising Osafo Marfo and are defending his ethno-tribal statements when he meet with NPP executives to the extent that they are saying that his tape has been doctored , so senior opposition leaders in the country are running around trying to justify his tape like the headless chickens to champion the narrow and petty parochial political interest. Thankfully, this vicious crusade has hit a snag and Ghanaians are wide awake

Today through their behavior in Kumasi its being manifested how the president speech was doctored by their own specialists to the extent that they tried hard to water down the positive impacts of his visit using their otherwise discredited guerrilla journalism tactics to the shock of well-meaning Ghanaians. Now they are at it again Wongbo demo in Kumasi .

Some of them who hiding behind cyber innovations doctored the harmless content of his speech, to mean that the president said ' Ashanti's are ungrateful. Using their surrogates succeeded in circulating, with the content going viral on social media.

But I am happy the Mahama government is delivering on its manifesto pledges by providing water, electricity, hospital roads, and helping the agricultural industry to survive .reaffirming his government's commitment in solving the country's economic challenges. His government has resolved to take the necessary actions to solve the energy problems in the country but the NPP says no.

Although government accepts that there are challenges in the energy sector, the NDC government has achieved unprecedented developments since it returned to power in 2012. The NPP thinks otherwise although they are seen signs of massive infrastructure development in the country.

All I would say is that Ghanaians should unite as a people, work harder and be guided by their shared spiritual values hinged on honesty, patriotism and dedication to duty.
