The Anguish And Agony Of An Innocent Minister Of State!

We, the members of the Front for Justice and Integrity (FoJI) are maniacally bewildered and exasperated at the ongoing backbiting, character assassination, mafia and the paraplegic attacks cum the jiggery-pokery that has taken over the political industry especially within the ruling National Democratic Congress.

It is inhuman and sardonic especially when such crunking ploys are directed at persons whose selfless contributions led to the 2008 and 2012 electoral victories respectively. We are undoubtedly convinced that such attacks are internally triggered by selfish and anachronistic obstructionists, in whose interests they want this party to run.

Who must be at the center of the following fabrications, concoctions, blatant lies and mischief?

1. Forbes Ghana... Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah listed number thirteen on the list of 20 richest people in Ghana.

2. $24m budget for Brazil World Cup even before the official budget came out and that the budget was massaged to fuel his alleged Presidential ambition to contest the Primaries against John Mahama in the future.

3. a. Brazil 2014 saw pictures of people queuing to use toilet

b. No food in Brazil for supporters in Brazil and poor accommodation... what an infamy?

c. That Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah slept with Jackie Appiah and gave her $20,000 USD. How incorrigible!!

d. That the honourable Minister threw dollars on the hips of the Brazilian women at a night club.

What a despicable lie of ridiculous proportions!!
f. the evil planner also added erroneously that, the honourable minister fought with supporters on the street of Brazil.

The shameless bravado with which the architects of this political sabotage blatantly spew lies is extremely repugnant. Intelligent Political pundits can affirm that not even a day-old politician can openly indulge in such fabricated and childish allegations as peddled above with impunity.

As if the daylight demonic attacks on Elvis Afriyie weren't enough, the venomous and deadly evil planner is here in the news again with an absurd allegation. This time, he is using yet another website (www.footy-ghana.com) to allege that Afriyie Ankrah flew supporters to the just ended AFCON at equatorial Guinea ahead of the Ghana-Senegal match against the suggestions of the Dzamefe commission when he had no connection with the sports ministry. Is this not the glare display of witchcraft and sorcery?

Meanwhile, comrades who were falsely accused together with Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah have been reassigned to very sensitive posts, when the reports of the Dzamefe commission have not cleared them genuine. Can we then say that all these lies and machinations against the Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah were deliberately put out to make him look guilty even before he appeared at the Commission? Why are some wicked minds engaging in all kinds of tricks just to implicate the Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah? This is the bread and butter politics practiced in the ambiance of stomach democracy and the miscarriage of justice.

We, the Front for Justice and Integrity, wish to humbly call on His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President of the Republic, to help facilitate the release of the commission's (Dzamfe) report in order to cleanse the Hon. Minister from the amorphous allegations from individuals with sadistic pleasure in humiliating him.

The NDC party as we knew whiles growing up believed and thrived on the tenet of justice.

Let justice be extended to Hon. Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah. He deserves far better.
