COMRADE NANA KOBINA KOOMSON DIES AT 81

The death is reported of Comrade Nana Kobina Koomson at the VRA hospital at Aboadze near Takoradi. He was 81.

The late Nana Kobina Koomson,who hails from Sekyere Hemang in the Mpohor Wassa-East District of the Western Region,was the chairman of the ARBICOM for the Lower Sekyere zonal office of the Committee for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR) under Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings,a former President of Ghana.

He was the father of Nana Ebo Koomson,the Gyasehene of Sekyere-Abroadzewuram in the Wassa-Fiase traditional area,an ace journalist,a tutor of Literature at the Sekondi Methodist Senior High school (MEHSEC) and President of the Western Regional branch of Ghana Association of Teachers of English(GATE).

Until his demise,comrade Koomson was a professional tailor.Funeral announcement will be announced later.
