Sunyani Celebrates Black Stars In Total Darkness
28.01.2015 LISTEN

Sunyani went completely dark with the usual power fluctuation popularly termed Dumsor at play when the Black Stars of Ghana recorded their second win at the ongoing African Cup Of Nations AFCON 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.

Residents could not hide their joy but only poured onto the streets to celebrate the Black Stars.

Ghana played with it's long time rivals, South Africa, a very difficult game for the stars as usual as the Bafana Bafana Boys scored first…..but with the determination and confidence of the players, history repeated itself and we as we showed the where power lies by whipping them two goals to one.

Here on the news hunter today we are looking at spirituality in football…..do you believe in it?

The sad news that we can report from the Brong Ahafo region is a massive power outage which hits the entire region.

Soccer fans here are worried and call for the government of Ghana to allow independent power producers to invest in the power sector.

“It will be better if the government is not holding or in-charge of that sector, its all about promises but we are not achieving any good results,” soccer fans in the capital of Brong Ahafo, Sunyani, told the News Hunter Daily Magazine.
