The Sheikh Zayed Children's Village Project, has received support from Cambridge International College, a British college that provides modern Careers Training to people worldwide through popular and professional distance-training methods.

The Children's Village Project aims at providing future, welfare and social security to disadvantaged girls and children through education, advocacy, protection and research.

Speaking in an interview the vice principal of the college, Dr. David Lawson, expressed his appreciation to be part of a programme to help with the education of the needy and stressed that percentage of admission fees from nationals of the United Arab Emirates and Ghana would be directed to the Sheikh Zayed Project as part of their effort of promoting the education of the needy in Ghana and Africa .

The Sheikh Zayed Children Village facility would be located at Kumbungu in the TolonKumbungu District in the Northern Region and would provide purposeful education to needy girls to help stem-tide migration of girls popularly known as ''Kayayei'' from the northern parts of Ghana to the south with its attendant hardship.
