Hi Patriots and the 1st Vice Chair,

This is a well written piece and the information given in your write up is very scary knowing that if nothing is done, we will end up with the same fraudulent election for 2016. Not that I am criticising the piece written, but I was very surprised that this article didn't go further to outline very strong mitigating steps to be taken to avert this happening. If the head of EC, Dr Afari Gyan has said this and on tape or record, don't you think it's very important to pick this up now with the authorities? But to say we will be monitoring only is not effective enough to prevent another lost election.

If this statement was made in public, can't we bring him to book immediately? For years we have reacted after the event has happen and made a lot of noise. I think that our national leaders should be very proactive to some of these statements and have a strategy in place to arrest such unfortunate happenings. For instance, by now the NPP National Secretary and the NPP national executives including the regional Executives should actively been involved in monthly or weekly update meeting with EC, strategy to be involved and part of the EC registration exercise, have access to registers for inspection, auditing the EC systems they have in place.

Some of us have even made mention of the system we can come up with to monitor the elections live to avoid data amendments at the EC offices on the day of elections so that any fraud is detected immediately it happen. For years, we have been chasing our tails by talking and suggesting policy on platforms with limited or no actions and there have therefore become helicopter strategists.

If this statement was made, as a patriot, I want to see him brought to book immediately and not being monitored. Let us get into the skin of the EC with hard to handle strategies. This should be on the national, branch and chapters agenda for better strategies. Let's bring this up in meetings and come up with a strategies to bring the registers and system into the open and by so doing, they cannot hide behind close doors and cheat the Ghanaian society. We deserve a better country than we currently have and if we cannot act now, then what else can we do. Time for action is now. Time to scrutinise the EC is now. Let's force them to open their doors like we have in the UK.

If we are doing any of these as discussed, can the National Secretary or the Branch send to the various chapters an update on the work we are currently doing with the EC and our monitory and activities strategies to discuss with members? This questions comes up daily in discussions " What is the NPP strategy on EC to avoid another election Fraud come 2016"

Thanks very much for your attention.
