Accra 23rd January, 2015: Joe Debrah, a long time radio presenter at the multiple award winning sports station, Happy FM, has been appointed an official CAF Translator at the on-going AFCON games in Equatorial Guinea. Due to his fluency in English, French and other international languages, Joe Debrah will be the translator in all media interactions for the teams based in Mongomo.
Expressing his delight about this development, Mr. Emmanuel Akrumah, General Manager for Happy FM stated “Joe has been with us for several years and has progressively become a very instrumental staff member. I speak for everyone at Happy FM and the entire Global Media Alliance Group when I say we are very proud of him and we will continue supporting him and helping him grow”.
Joe Debrah who has been with Happy 98.9FM for almost a decade, will also be bringing live updates of the AFCON matches on the station. Happy 98.9FM is known to be the home of several Ghanaian radio talents including Charles Osei Asibey, Odiasempa Kwame Oware, NyansaBoakwa, DJ Advicer, KwabenaBoafo, Afia Schwarzenegger, Doctor Cann and several others.
