Angry residents of Kwahu Pepease Community in the Eastern Region has staged series of demonstrations this morning, in an attempt to seek the removal of Mr. Jacob Yaw Boafo popolarly known as "action", Headmaster of the St. Dominic Secondary Technical school, a community Senior High School.

According to residents of the community and students of the school, the actions of the headmaster continued to draw the school back in terms of development and academic achievements.

"His performance has been generally poor and he has not done anything to improve the level of teaching in the school," the residents pointed out.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Headmaster, Pastor James Koranteng, confirmed the story to be true but went on to urge authorities and board of the school to intervene.

They claimed after the Headmaster resumed duties, there has never been any achievement to boast of let alone boosting the growth of the school population.

The angry mob further revealed that the school could previously admit over 50 students every term but the situation has been different in recent times.

The demonstrators, who spoke to ModernGhana, angrily declared their frustrations insisting that "they will not sit for him to collapse the school."

The Headmaster was a successor to the former Head in the person of Mr. Patrick Asamoah Koduah in 2008.

The community and the students and members of staff confirmed the attitude of the master is not making the school attractive and appealing enough for people to attend.

St. Dominic SHS in the past has made tremendous development until Mr. Yaw Boafo took over. They said the school is recording low patronage hence the need to save it from total collapse.

According to sources, the community had served him a letter to leave the school since September last year 2014 and upon several warnings physical warnings by angry people, he had still proved adamant.

Therefore, they applying force this time around to compel him to vacate the school and the bungalow with immediate effect.

Community authorities are therefore asking the head master to vacate the premises now.
