The Sin of Equating Navi to Prophet! (Part 1 of 2)

This piece is aimed at addressing some issues among Christians who believe the word “prophet” is a title or designation ascribed by the Almighty to some actors, who very often are leaders in their religion! It is gratifying to note that the Almighty—YAHUWAH is His Name, and not YAHWEH or JEHOVAH as it is considered by many Christian faithful to be—has never called any of His servants throughout His dealings with mankind, since Creation, by “prophet”, a word of Greek origin!

Let me also state here that another appellation of YAHUWAH is Elohiym, which is, in fact, His foremost revealed appellation of Himself as seen in the first verse of Bereshis (Genesis) of the Ivrit (Hebrew) Holy Scriptures; and so, readers should be minded that both YAHUWAH and Elohiym are used interchangeably in this article!

Before shooting fully into orbit in executing my assignment in this article, let me say something about the name of the Savior. The Savior was and  is forever of Ivri-origin (Hebrew), and so was never called by the English name “JESUS CHRIST” in all his days of sojourn on planet Earth, contrary to what Christians believe and, for centuries, have proclaimed that he was and should continue to be known by!!

The Savior has a name given to him by his Father, YAHUWAH, which is very close in sound, value, and power to his Father's, for him to forever keep and be known by all in the entire Earth throughout its history. That special name of the Savior is “YAHUSHUA” and the most popular of his many titles given to him by YAHUWAH is “HaMashakhYahu”!!

“Yahushua” is Ivrit, which in English means “YAHUWAH saves”—thus, clearly and perfectly depicting the executed mandate YAHUWAH gave to His Savior-Son to bring salvation to all of sinful mankind who exercise faith in his name! The title “HaMashakhYahu” is also Ivrit and means “The Anointed One of YAHUWAH” in English!

Over many centuries, the name Yahushua was shortened or slanged by the children of Yisroel and so was known in later years also as Yehoshua, Yahshua, and Yeshua. It seems to me that “Yeshua” is the ultimate shortened, poetic, sing-song and romantically massaged variant of Yahushua, and was therefore adopted by Yisroel to define his bridal relation with her Yahushua-Groom!

Sadly, the coming of the sing-song shortened name, YESHUA, eventually gave room for Lucifer to pull a fast one on mankind. Because of the closeness of “YESHUA”, phonetically and alphabet-wise, to the name of the Greek deity “ZEUS”, Lucifer was at his tricking-best when he managed, through his assigns, to equate YESHUA (a holy name of the Son of YAHUWAH) to IZEUS (the evil-laden name of the son of ZEUS), and later tricked English bible translators who worked from a Greek “version” of the Ivrit Holy Scriptures to render IZEUS as JESUS!

In yet another trick, Lucifer transposed YESHUA into Greek alphabets to get IESOUS to subsequently become JESUS in English, thus causing many salvation seekers to be deceived to express faith in a name of the Goyim (Gentiles) for an Ivri-born Savior, and thus consigning the name Yahushua to perpetual forgetfulness and irrelevance!

The Almighty has commanded all His children never to mention the names of deities of Goyim—cf. Yehoshua (Joshua) 23:7. However, by this single and simple trick of Lucifer, many people seeking the salvation of Elohiym are compelled without them knowing it to always call on the name of the Greek deity, ZEUS, in their profession of the name JESUS!!

Now that the name YAHUSHUA is effectively lost to Earth, and it is the name JESUS that rules, it is in fact ZEUS who reigns on Earth, with Lucifer receiving man's worship intended for YAHUWAH!! In this age where knowledge now so much abounds, in fulfillment of the Word of Elohiym in the book of Daniel, salvation seekers must wise-up to this trick of Lucifer and begin to do all they can to be delivered from it.

The name JESUS has no bearing linguistically, phonetically, or meaning-wise to YAHUSHUA and so is outside the will, intents, and purposes of Elohiym for mankind's salvation! While the Savior's name YAHUSHUA originated from YAHUWAH the Almighty, JESUS has come from ZEUS, a Greek deity!! While YAHUSHUA will save by the power of YAHUWAH, it is sad that JESUS stands alienated from YAHUWAH, the Saving-power, and is destined to bring doom to salvation hopefuls in the end!! That the name JESUS is man-made and has never saved a soul must sound a warning to salvation hopefuls of this generation.

The title “HaMashakhYahu” also underwent shortening and slanging in its transliteration to evolve to finally become the corrupted popular English word “Messiah”, all without the involvement of Elohiym!! Clearly, HaMashakhYahu can be broken down to yield three words—Ha (The), Mashakh (Anointed) and Yahu, a short form of Yahuwah (Name of the Almighty).

And so, HaMashakhYahu in its first shortening by the children of Yisroel was made to sound as HaMashakhyah, and from thence to sound as HaMashayah, and to HaMasayah; finally becoming “the Messiah” in and by the work done by English bible translators without the mandate of Elohiym. It is therefore sad that the word “Messiah” has, today, found world-wide acceptance, as if it were a genuine Ivrit-title conferred on the Savior by Elohiym!!

Now going forward in my current assignment described in the above title, let me define who a Navi is within the context of the revelation of the Ivrit Holy Scriptures given by YAHUWAH to Yisroel to direct their lives. The word Navi is a transliteration in Anglicized alphabets of a typically Ivrit sound; a sound used to refer to any man ordained and anointed by Elohiym to be His spokesman in Yisroel during the days preceding the coming of the Savior.

This means every Navi of Elohiym to Yisroel was of Ivri (Hebrew) descent; never was a stranger to Yisroel ordained a Navi. The Navi was always a mature man—never a woman—who was specially endowed by Elohiym to hear voice messages and or to receive visions that came from Him. The Navi had the responsibility of delivering these messages as “thus sayeth YAHUWAH” to Yisroel and or any of his specified leaders. Because every Navi was, indeed, the Voice of Elohiym, he had to of necessity speak out the very words Elohiym gave him to deliver to the people who were to receive it!

The Navi was never to add to, subtract from, put a twist or spin on, paraphrase, or put his personal understanding to the message! He had to deliver the message verbatim—observing every accent and stress of words as uttered to him by Elohiym! This, clearly, is a seemingly impossible task by all human standards; but then, so must it be since whoever is sent by Elohiym must speak Elohiym's Words—cf. YahuChanan (John) 3:34.

And so, to be able to do this, the power of Elohiym always took possession of every navi while he was on assignment!   In other words, Ruwakh HaKodesh (Holy Spirit?) of YAHUWAH came over and or indwelt every navi that Elohiym put on assignment and then spoke through him. There was, therefore, never a need for a translation from Ivrit to another language by another person when true neviim (plural of navi) were on assignment in Yisroel, since their audiences were all Ivriim (Hebrews), and also because YAHUWAH always spoke through all His neviim in Ivrit!!

The last Navi sent by Elohiym to Yisroel was and is Yahushua, the Savior—cf. Ivriim (Hebrews) 1:1-2. In fact, every navi before Yahushua came on his behalf! And so, whatever Elohiym never mandated those who came before Yahushua to make known to Yisroel, He completed in making known to Yisroel and thus, the Earth, through Yahushua. Today, the book of revelations from Elohiym is filled and complete with the teachings and work done by Yahushua and sealed unto the Day of Judgment! So then, after Yahushua, no navi comes from Elohiym to Earth!!

In fact, Yahushua is HaNavi promised by Elohiym through Moshe—cf. Devarim (Deuteronomy) 18:18—whose ministry, therefore, spans the two dispensations of the Tanakh and the currently running Beyrit Chadasha (Old and New Testaments, respectively) forever. All people today must hear and obey the word of Yahushua to be able to enter the salvation of YAHUWAH.

So then, should there seem to be a “navi” in today's Dispensation of Grace, he must be fully and completely indwelt by Yahushua, identifying and becoming one with him (Yahushua) through and through! The whole person and personality of Yahushua must indwell such a “navi”. Every attribute of the Savior must clearly manifest in the body and life of such a “navi” who must deny his own personal identity to take up that of Yahushua!
