Mr. CNN And Two Ghanaians Among Appointees For Ambassadors For Peace In New York

We thank God for his favor upon us. As scripture reminds us, in all things we must give thanks to the Almighty. And so it is that Mr. Charles Nimno Ntiamoah-Mensah, popularly known as Mr. CNN, has a long list of thank-yous to God and to all his friends and supporters who have shared his accomplishments and offered support in challenging times.

First for the gift of life, Mr. CNN, turns 46 years young on December 24, 2014, gives a big thank you, Lord. His 4th Annual 3G Achievements Award that was held in New York City on December 12, 2014 saw 24 leaders in business, community, and in the international arena receive awards for their accomplishments. The event was highly successful.

It led to Mr. CNN himself being recognized and appointed as an Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation(UPF - upf.org). The solemn ceremony to bestow this high honor on a humble servant of the people took place on December 19, 2014. The honor of investiture was done by no less a personality than Dr. Thomas Walsh, President of UPF and Her Excellency; Ambassador Masidi Siri Conde of UNESCO, New York Chapter Center for Peace. Universal Peace Foundation is a global network of peace makers. It is a non-governmental organization with a special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. UPF promotes the achievement of sustainable development goals. It also supports UN Initiatives;

World Interfaith Harmony Week, International Day of Families, Global Day of Parents, International Day of Peace, International Women's Day, and UN Development Millennium Goals.

The two other Ghanaians who were also appointed Ambassadors for Peace are; Francis Boanoh, Publisher of Christian Journal and CEO of Fabweb Solutions, and Ashley Frema Weeks, a young woman who led a lobbying effort that led to the Connecticut legislature passing a law to require that lifeguards be stationed at all public swimming pools. After two deaths the new law will surely save lives. Ambassadors Ntiamoah-Mensah, Boahoh, and Weeks thank their Lord and all of their friends and colleagues for the support through the years, and are grateful to UPF for the honor.
