Maybeck Company Limited over the weekend won a whopping GH¢200,000 for emerging as the overall winner of uniBank Ghana's 'Dash For 200k' promotion, which was launched three months ago.

The promotion focused on celebrating uniBank's cherished customers for their loyalty.

Thirteen customers received cash prizes totaling GH¢300,000, while 37 customers from two zones received GH¢50,000 each.

Ten customers also received consolation prizes.
Customers were required to deposit a minimum of GH¢100 and maintain an average amount of GHC500 to qualify for any of the draws.

Speaking at the colorful event, General Manager of Operations, Clifford D. Mettle, said 'our remarkable partnership with you has underscored our outstanding establishment as the preferred bank in offering comprehensive financial and banking solutions in Ghana.'

He gave assurance that the bank would continue to work hard to ensure that it rolls out tailor-made products and services designed to meet customers' needs and grow their businesses.

In his keynote address, CEO of uniBank Ghana Limited, Felix Nyarko-Pong, said the 'Dash for 200k' promotion was aimed at showing appreciation to cherished customers as well as enhancing the saving culture.

According to him, the promotion was tied to the Christmas festivities to reward the lucky customers with handsome prizes.

'These are exciting times for our customers and as a bank, we are also excited to put some smiles on the faces of our customers just before the Christmas holidays.'

As part of its capacity-building, the bank said it would improve its customer care service primarily through e-banking and deploying new ATMs for withdrawing cash and competitive interest rates.

The bank is introducing magnetic chips to replace the cards. The Ecobank Master Card will not only be used in Ghana but overseas.

The promotion was supervised by the National Lotteries Authority (NLA).

uniBank currently has 32 branches nationwide and intends to open two additional ones by the end of the year.
