Members, supporters and sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party across Europe will gather on Saturday December 20 in the Northern German city of Bremen for the Launching of the 2016 Election Campaign.

The Campaign Launch which coincides with the official swearing in of the newly elected officials of the Bremen Chapter of the party will also be used to honour former President John Agyekum Kuffour and other founding members of NPP-Germany.

According to Mr Frederick Boateng Secretary of the Bremen Chapter of NPP, all the local chapters in Germany as well as Sister Branches from the Netherland (Holland), Belgium, France, Italy and the United Kingdom are all expected to be at this historic event which is scheduled to take place at Hans-Bredow Strasse 36

Mr Boateng explained that the Campaign Launch will be followed by a non-denominational Thanks Giving Service on Sunday at the “The Joy of the Lord Ministry” Graundener Strasse 12-14 starting from 13.30 pm adding “As party the NPP has every reason to be thankful for how far God has brought us”

He confirmed that Senior Party officials from Ghana including the National Organiser, Mr John Boadu, and Hajia Asana Sulley, Women's Organiser, Tamale North Constituency have been invited and have accepted to participate in the Campaign Launch adding that this underscores the importance the party attaches to the External Branches.

Mr Boateng explained that the current economic crisis confronting Ghana is a result of failed leadership and failed policies of the Mahama-led government which can best be described as a disaster for the country

He insisted that there is an urgent need for a new type of leadership with the vision, Knowledge, expertise and international exposure to lead this economic crusade, saying “The Akuffo-Addo-Bawumia ticket provides the best team that can lead and move our country forward”.
