The disqualified National Organiser aspirant of the National Democratic Congress, Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye has declared his support for the candidature of Kofi Adams in Saturday's national executive elections of the party.

According to him, Adams who is contesting the national organiser position has shown him affection and love in his troubled times with the party.

Didieye who is also a Member of Parliament (MP) for Afram Plains North, filed a law suit against the party, after the General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah announced a decision by the party's Electoral Committee to drop him from the race.

According to Aboagye Didieye, he was unjustifiably disqualified by the party's Vetting Committee and sought the court to restrain the party from holding its congress until the issue is resolved.

He however, decided to withdraw the case from court out of his “love for the party”.

Speaking to the media after withdrawing the case, Thursday, Didieye said the spokesperson for former President Rawlings is best placed to serve the NDC as national organiser.

“I'm happy to see my brother Kofi Adams representing the party in court today.

“He is a brother and I throw my support behind him to become the national organiser of our party so I can share my ideas with him,” he stated.
