New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for the 2016 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo is in the UK, to celebrate the birth of his grand-daughter.
Nana Akufo-Addo left Accra on Tuesday, December 16, with his wife, Rebecca, and daughter, Nana Dokua, according to a brief statement issued Thursday and signed by his Aide, Eugene Arhin.
While in the UK, the politician will also meet with the NPP-UK branch and members of the Ghanaian community on Sunday 28th December 2014 at the Dominion Centre.
Discussion at the town-hall meeting will centre on the state of Ghana's economy, the current political and social climate, the urgent need to implement electoral reforms and Nana Akufo-Addo's message of hope for Ghanaians.
