United Cadres Front On The NDC National Congress
17.12.2014 LISTEN

We, members of the United Cadres' Front of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) feel duty-bound to put in a word of caution during this pensive moment of pre-congress events.

Having closely monitored the branch, constituency and regional elections with the attendant negative happenings with little acrimony – and to the extent the Party, in the aftermath of the calling of the results by the appropriate body designated to do so is satisfied, we can only in the light of DEMOCRATIC CULTURE conclude that the Party is the victor.

However, it is worth cautioning that decency and political decorum must be given a chance to prevail at the coming National Congress in Kumasi. Members and particularly delegates must know that congress is a family affair and the associated contest for executive positions is not warfare.

The use of unsavory language, insults and innuendo must not be given a right of place in this family.

Rather, the spirit of sportsmanship should be allowed to hold sway, over bribery and avarice. Contestants must be able to compete on the merit of their competence and capability. Room SHOULD not be given to individuals who are not in consonance with the spirit, motivation and essence of the philosophy of the Party to take advantage of their questionable wealth to dole out huge sums of money to buy their way into positions for which they do not have the needed capability and political acumen to occupy.

2016 is crucial! All efforts must be harnessed and directed towards attaining VICTORY. There must be no crack in the Party. We must be united in our efforts to flush out the elephant into the eternity of opposition.

We, the United Cadres' Front of NDC urge all delegates to reflect soberly during this time of decision-making and vote for COMPETENCE, GOOD SENSE, and above all LOYALTY.

May the best contestants win at the end of theCongress. NDC all the way!

Signed
For: General Secretary
Camillus Maalneriba-Tia Sakzeesi (Dep. Gen. Secretary)
