I will terminate my opponents' political careers - Dr. Kwabena Adjei

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vowed to terminate the political careers of all his opponents who have launched vile propaganda against his candidature.

Dr. Kwabena Adjei indicated that if those who are contesting him claim he has failed then they will go down together because they were part of the team steering affairs of the party.

“I'm the Nkonya terminator and I will terminate their political career in Kumasi on Saturday” he stressed.

Dr. Kwabena Adjei who was speaking in an exclusive on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday said the NDC needs “the likes of me to lead a party like NDC to victory in 2016”.

The incumbent National Chairman is being challenged by Dan Abodakpi and his vice Chairman, Alhaji Huudu Yaya and National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) Coordinator, Kofi Portuphy.

Many political pundits have ruled out Dr. Kwabena Adjei's ability to retain his seat ahead of the party National Delegates Congress on December 20th, 2014 in Kumasi.

But the man who touts himself as an experienced politician said he will pull a surprise.

The incumbent Chairman however bemoaned the monetization and character assassination which have characterized the campaign towards their congress.

“I don't know why people in spite of the money they are throwing about are attacking my person when I have not done so. I'm not perturbed because I'm a politician who finds ways and means to influence people. I don't use money,” he stated.

Dr. Kwabena Adjei opined that only weak politicians use money to woo delegates just to win political power.

“I won't destroy a party I built in the later part of my life; I'm the great unifier and I have shown it so if  delegates like they should vote for me if they don't like they should reject me”.
