NPP Must Stop Talking And Hit The Ground Running

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu Ekuful says the party is not providing effective opposition to keep the government in check.

According to her, the Mahama-led administration is having a field day in spite of worsening socio-economic conditions in the country because the NPP seem to have gone to sleep.

The MP on Accra-based radio station, Oman FM Wednesday, charged her NPP leadership to wake up from their 'slumber' and champion the cause of Ghanaians. “Ghanaians are looking up to the NPP so we must be seen to be leading the massive demonstrations against government toward the fight for liberation in 2016” she stressed.

The Ablekuma West MP believes it is time the NPP quits talking and hits the ground running by 'exposing the rot' in the Mahama administration.

"In spite of the never ending power crisis, the unprecedented corruption being perpetrated under President Mahama, the NDC is having a field day because the NPP is not putting them to strict proof” she bemoaned.

Mrs Ekuful urged NPP to live up to its mandate as the government in waiting and hold the Mahama administration accountable.
