Press Release Dont Blame John Mahama For Ghana's Woes: NDC Group Warns Afag And Imani
NOV 27, 2014 LISTEN

We the Youth of National Democratic Congress (NDC) have observed the critics of the Mahama led administration. A group which calls its self; Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) and another called IMANI Ghana, on many occasions have accused the Mahama administration of many issues which are false and cannot be vouched for.

I would like to draw the attention of Ghanaians to the mischief and falsehood such groups have leveled against the Mahama led administration.

IMANI Ghana as it is popularly known is aligned with the opposition New Democratic Party (NPP). I humbly take this platform to make known the intends of IMANI especially with regards to the NDC government led by H.E John Dramani Mahama.

We are aware of the many attempts of these groups in their guest to frustrate the president and create unnecessary tension.

Before I expose their evil works, let me the chance to send it to IMANI and AFAG, that we are aware of their evil plots. Allow me the chance to put on record that the presidents is ever committed to delivering the many promises he made to Ghanaian people. We in the NDC and the twenty six and more million Ghanaians trust in the president.

We believe he is working to bring development to the Ghanaian people.

A self Acclaimed tink-tank group called IMANI on many occasions took a swipe at H.E John Dramani Mahama. Their allegations are not tangible and are completely despicable. We have watched on many occasions when IMANI Ghana threw many accusations at the current government.

It is rather unfortunate, that, such a tink-tank group would pursue a government that is truly working for its people.

The director of the group was once heard throwing invectives and casting aspersions on a current deputy minister Felex Kwakye Ofosu. For me, this should send a signal to the Ghanaian people that IMANI is not fair in its dispensation.

A gain, it is laughable, especially when you hear IMANI accuse the president of corruption and incompetency. Not only have they aligned themselves with the opposition new patriotic party (NPP) but also have personal hatred for the NDC. It would be better for IMANI to publicly declare its self a pro-NPP group.

I urge Ghanaians to treat their actions with the contempt that it deserve.

AFAG is yet another group waging insults at the government. It would be recalled, that, AFAG recently organized a demonstration.

Fellow citizens, such groups are not neutral. They also seek create tension in the country. They have nothing to offer the Ghanaian people. Their accusations are laughable. They are aligned with the opposition party.

I wish we all listened the tape of Dominic Nitiwul. These are groups who seek to create mischief. Beware of them follow citizens

The president was given four years not two; there is progress on-going. Mahama will succeed. His works shall speak louder come 2016.

I personally want Ghanaians to note that, the better Ghana agenda is not an event. It is a process. We shall get there.
