The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Right Reverend Professor Emmanuel Martey who performed the induction charged both the executives and the entire fellowship to be bold and strong in carrying out their duties as a Christian fellowship to also move the church forward.

Reminded them that each of them had been giving a talent by God in different ways and needed to be used to help society.

Quoting from the bible he again reminded them that,” curse unto the one who does the work of God any how”.

The Moderator charged the new executive to allow themselves to be filled by the Holy Spirit in order for them to carry out their duties effectively

He noted that like a tree bearing both good and bad fruits, so people bears good fruits and bad fruits but Christians are urged to bear good fruits for Christ that is why he creates a boundary around his children.

He cautioned Christians to be awakened by the signs of the world taking place every day by hating all evil deeds that are mentioned in the bible as things that prevents Christians from receiving the blessings of God.

Dr Yirenkyi who is also the President of Ghana Institute of Planners and Lay Representative of the Western Presbytery of the church on the General Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana on behalf of the officers, expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to put the Fellowship on a higher pedestal during their three-year tenure of office.

He said: “God has found it necessary at this time to elect us as officers for the next three years. We will tap the expertise of all members to change the image of the Fellowship.
