Hopes of Ghanaian musician Kwaw Kese being granted bail has been dashed as the KMA court in Kumasi refused him bail today November 24 2014 in the suit brought against him for smoking a substance alleged to be Indian hemp in an open place.
Kwaw Kese who appeared in court in a white shirt and a jeans looked down although he tried to wear a smile. He was put before the court on a provisional charge of use of narcotic drug without lawful authority.
A request by Kwaw Kese's counsel led by Lawyer Akwasi Boayitey to grant him bail was rejected by the court.
Kwaw Kese is therefore to reappear in court on Monday December 8 when the case would be heard. He however remains in the custody of the Central Police Station.
