The Kumasi polytechnic has taken the developmental steps to enhance technology innovation in the country after a several attempts by authorities to increase innovation among the youth by assembling a new quality Laptops, iPhones and iPads among other relative electronic gadgets.

The assembling was done by the polytechnic with company name KPST electronic company limited in collaboration with a Chinese company sonny-tech.

The company has launched a new laptop, Android phones and Ipad with high quality to compete it relative competitive brands on the market. The brand name of the product is KPL loaded with classic software and android enhancer.

The school company has been establishing off campus at “Piase” in the “kuntunase” district in the Ashanti region-Ghana. This came to light during the first International Conference On Applied Science and Technology (ICAST) at Kumasi polytechnic

The managing director of the company Mr. David Addo-Yobo speaking to modern news said, this is a way to enhance technology innovation in our students. According to him, the company will add to assemble other electronics to the existence.

Mr. David adds that, the company will soon officially launch the brands, which he stated despite its quality, the prices are relatively low.

He said, they are in to equip the youth and their students with requisite knowledge which will help improve technological advancement.
