A 28 member Tema Youth Choir, who were on a three-week tour of the United States of America, on Monday, October 27, 2014 paid a courtesy call on Ghana's Ambassador to the United States of America, His Excellency Lt. Gen. Joseph Henry Smith at the Embassy.

The Choir entertained the Ambassador and staff of the Mission to a number patriotic song and gospel songs.

Welcoming the Choir to the Embassy, His Excellency Lt. Gen. Smith commended the Choir for being worthy Ambassadors for Ghana and flying high the flag of Ghana wherever they have been to in the US.

He charged the group to make Ghana first in all their assignment and make the interest of the Ghana their priority in their dealings with other nationals.

Present at the gathering were sectional Heads and the staff of the Embassy.
