On behalf of the teeming supporters of the NPP in Canada, we wish to congratulate you for your massive electoral victory, in the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Primaries, concluded on October 18, 2014. We also wish to take this opportunity to extend our congratulations to the Delegates, the other Contestants and Party Executives for participating and deepening the NPP's acclaimed democratic culture.

To win over 94%, in a keenly contested race, speaks to the clarity the NPP has in your leadership and the unity of purpose you have infused into the NPP; to help Ghanaians replace the visionless “Yɛ bedii bi kɛkɛ” Presidency of John Mahama with a competent one. The results also lend credence to the fact that the NPP grassroots believe that the party won the 2012 election, but for the well-documented failures in the electoral system, which you graciously and famously let go, for the sake of peace and order in our nation and earning well-deserved universal acclaims and the title Aboterɛwura, accordingly.

We thank you and the National Council for re-nominating Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as your Running Mate. NPP Canada trusts that you have and will further strengthen your strong and diverse Campaign Team, ably led by a proven and driven Campaign Manager, which will keep the NDC consistently having to defend their appalling record of governance. In this vein, we trust that you will involve the best and brightest within Ghana and abroad, without consideration of past affiliations, in your Campaign. We further trust that you will have the NPP partner well with likeminded political stakeholders in the country. Furthermore, we trust that you will ascertain that adequate attention will be paid to ensure the NPP wins the parliamentary elections too. Above all else, we trust that you will ensure that the people's vote will be truly manifested, in regards to who the EC will declare President in December 2016.
