Eastern regional superintendent of the Assemblies of God church Rev. Dr. Stephen Narh has challenged pastors to be strong spiritually and continue to help win more souls for Christ since it is their core mandate as far as ministering the word of God is concerned. He has also urged pastors to be bold enough to condemn actions that are against the teachings in the Bible no matter the stature of the individual in the church or community.

Rev. Dr. Narh was speaking at the graduation ceremony of God Reign ministries at Odumase-Krobo in the eastern region. According to him, the inability of some pastors to come out boldly with the truth has had great effect on christians and the church in general and thinks it is time to preach the real truth at all times without fear or panic.

"The time has come for we men of God to condemn any bad behaviours of our members instead of hiding from it with the fear of loosing members" he stated.

The reverend doctor also urged pastors to be weary of being materialistic since that sway them from the truth eventhough he also believes they also have their own family to fend. He however encouraged graduands to put their trust in the Lord who called them to be His servants since He would surely provide their needs equally.

He therefore appealed to Christians to always support pastors in order to strengthen them in the word all the time.

The executive director of the school, Rev. Emmanuel Yormekper urged graduands to put what they have learnt into good practice and win souls for Christ.

He, however, apologized to the leadership of the Assemblies of God church for mistakengly referring to Rev. Dr. Samuel Appertey as the eastern regional superintendent of the church in an earlier publication.
