Beposo(Ash) Oct 20----Rev. Frederick Bosompem Boahen, District Minister for Nsuta Presbyterian church in the Sekyere Central district in Ashanti region has appealed to Ghanaians to adopt Dr Efraim Amoh's song titled “YEN ARA ASAASE NI” as a National legacy to self as a panacea to the socio-economic problems in the country.

“The content in the song,if it is accepted and translated into English and all the major Ghanaian languages and used at all levels in our schools and educational institutions as well as public social events,it will instill discipline and promote true patriotism in the country”-Rev Bosompem Boahen emphasized.

The district Minister stated this on last Sunday during a sermon themed “Our Social Responsibility” at the Calvary Presbyterian church at Beposo in the Sekyere Central district.

He said because of selfishness, dishonest, and greed, many Ghanaians in responsible positions especially government officials, traditional rulers, religious leaders, heads of families, public and civil servants only think of amassing wealth because of multiplication of desires.

The Rev Minister cautioned that the root cause of the socio-economic problems in the country now is the neglect for Truth and Rightousness which are highly indispensable for the country's development.

He advised parents to give priority to their needs and think of their children's education first.
