BEST WISHES DELEGATES AND THE PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS - TESCON -LEGON
18.10.2014 LISTEN

BEST WISHES FROM CONCERNED STUDENTS OF TESCON –LEGON TO DELEGATES AND THE PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS OF THE 18TH OCTOBER DELEGATES CONGRESS.

We, the Concerned Students of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy of New Patriotic Party (TESCON -LEGON) would like to use this opportunity to wish all the presidential aspirants in this upcoming delegates' congress the best of luck as they stand to be elected to lead the great New Patriotic Party as Flag bearer for the 2016 presidential elections of Ghana.

We, as well, humbly plead with our highly respected delegates that they should go all out to vote for a candidate who is competent and above all a candidate with the mindset of making Ghana a better place, and someone who is determined to salvage this nation from its current woeful and disheartening state.

We also want to use this occasion to plead with delegates of our party across the 'nook and cranny' of our nation who would go to the poll to elect our presidential candidate in the upcoming congress to elect a candidate who has the interest of the party at heart, someone who has the zeal and desire to make mother Ghana a better place to live, someone with the experience, ability, credibility, will-power and, with all due respect, the wisdom to be able to keep the country united.

We humbly plead with the delegates that the party needs a candidate who can secure victory for the party and also win the support of all Ghanaians including the security services such as the Military and the Police, and all Ghanaians in this country as a whole.

Our delegates must take into consideration that we need them to vote for a president and not just a flag bearer for our party, because we do believe that whoever is voted as the flag bearer for the party today the 18th of October 2014 would automatically become the president for this country come January 2017 “Insha'Allah”.

Our highly respected delegates must also consider whether Ghanaians will have the hope and trust in the candidate that they the delegates will vote for, and that Ghanaians would be fully secured and unafraid of tomorrow or what lies ahead...that he is a good person and that he would bring back our lost destiny.

Our delegates must take into consideration once again that we need a candidate who would continue to hold the party together. We don't need anybody who would divide us. We by ourselves alone cannot get all the votes we need, as the cliché goes “two heads are better than one”. This is why we need to stay together to be attractive enough to draw other people to join us in order for us to go beyond the absolute majority.

We, as a party, should bear in mind that it is only unity that can assure us power come 2016, so it is imperative and mandatory on the part of every member of the party that we forge ahead in the true spirit of solidarity and tranquility right after this election for the betterment of the New Patriotic Party and Mother Ghana at large.

We are a party of peace and a party that shows high level of democratic credentials to the world when it comes to tranquility in election and so we must bear that in mind as we go to the poll this Saturday, the 18th of October, 2014.

We, the Concerned Students Of Tertiary Education Students Confederacy Of The New Patriotic Party -LEGON pray for a safe, free, just and fair election, and we once again wish all the three aspirants for this year's congress all the best and we pray that the best man wins.

Signed
RICHMOND ASARE.
