ProSeed Microfinance Relocates Its Odorkor Branch

ProSeed Microfinance Limited, a fast-growing Microfinance company which was incorporated on the 15th of May, 2012, and licensed by the Bank of Ghana on the 1st of June, 2013 to operate as a Microfinance Institution in accordance with the existing financial institution laws of Ghana has relocated and re-lunched its Odorkor Branch which is now located at Official Town opposite the ODASENE HOTEL in the Greater Accra Region, to offer banking services to the unbanked and the under banked in the Region.

PML, which has its head office at Achimota on the Accra Nsawam road, offers micro finance services to support viable economic ventures as a way of promoting economic growth to help improve the living standard of its customers.

The financial institution, which commenced operations in March 24, 2012 after it took over a seriously distressed Susu company, then known as ANGEL SUSU with lots of debt owing to their clients, can now boasts of over 4,000 customers scattered around the business district of the capital.

At a brief ceremony to open the new Odorkor Branch, the C.E.O of Company Mrs. Ruth Amoah-Koomson, who is a renowned Banker, with over twelve years of banking experience with various banks, some of which are the Prudential Bank, TTB now Eco-bank, and finally in Energy Bank as the Head of Private Banking,in her opening addresss he reiterated that ProSeed Microfinance is determined to become the Microfinance Institute household name in Ghana, and a company known as a trusted business and community partner.

She further noted that Management decided to relocate the old branch to be able to build the ProSeed Brand, after mudding its Image with the old brand, to give both existing and potential customer the hope of a long lasting relationship. She explained the company is dedicated to expand their thinking which is related to the“Dream Big” concept and be able to develop tailor made products for their loyal customers and to try and meet their insatiable needs.

She said the company was also strategically positioned at its current location to create jobs both internally and externally for the human resource within the locality as part of its social responsiveness, which is imbedded within its core values.

The Official opening and tape cutting was done by the Board Chairman of the Company Mr. Philip Sintim-Amoah, a renowned Banker who has been with the Bank of Ghana for over 20 years, and also with vast experience from the banking sector of the United States of America as Funds Manager at International Rescue Committee, a position which he held for over 5 years. He recently retired as the head of Internal Audit of the Church of Pentecost, USA Inc.

Present at the ceremony were dedicated staff of the branch and some customers and potential customers.
