As the world celebrates today as THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD- an international observance day declared by the United Nations. The HuD Group Ghana held a GIRLS DARE TO DREAM event on Friday 10th of October to mark this day.

The event which was held in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly brought together Junior High School girls from ten (10) schools in the area. The girls received a talk on Sexsense (an empowering sex education presentation focused on abstinence) and were empowered to build a reading and research habit.

The participants were also put in small groups where they presented projects on career. The HuD Group also donated 110 books and educative brochures to the girls after which they were refreshed.

In an interactive session, Affi Agbenyo-Agorsor (mrs) challenged the girls to be bold and rise to greatness with the inspiring story of Malālah Yūsafzay, a Pakistani female education activist, who became the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize recipient in 2014.

The mentoring department of The HuD Group also held the ALIncubator- an African Leadership Initiative and Aspen Global Leadership Network inspired project, which seeks to raise tomorrow's enlightened and effectual leaders by mentoring them for personal and leadership success.
