The Youth in the Salvation Army has donated GHc 450 worth stationery to 46 orphans at Beposo

Beposo(Ash) Sept 17) –The youth in the Salvation Army Church at Beposo in the Sekyere Central district in Ashanti region has presented some stationery items worth GHc 450 to 46 selected orphans in the Basic schools at Beposo.

Each child had five exercise books and five Note books.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr, Kofi Oti, the Youth Organizer said education is very important for every child and because of that they decided to present the stationery items to support the pupils whose parents are not there to care for their schooling.

Mr Joseph Yaw OWUSU,who deputized for the district director of education thanked the Salvation Army Youth for the assistance to the orphans and appealed to other Organizations and individuals to emulate the good example of the donors.

He advised parents to give priority attention to their children's education to prepare them well for the future.

On behalf of her colleagues, Faustina Amponsah of Beposo Moslem Mission Junior High School thanked the Salvation Army Youth for their kind guesture and appealed to others to come to their aid.
