The story behind Man Utd's defeat against Leicester City ... aside from Van Gaal's porous defence

Leicester City recovered twice from a two-goal deficit to beat Manchester United 5-3 in the Premier League on Sunday.

The famous win has been linked with blessings from Buddhist monks who were flown in for the game at the King Power Stadium by Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

This is not the first visit of the monks after they performed rituals which are believed to bring good karma for the players before the start of the season.

Leicester City have not lost at home since with games against Everton, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Manager Nigel Pearson said after the win against Manchester United:

“The Buddhist monks have been in. I hope we'll see them more often.”
