An uncompleted classroom project  at Duase  RC Primary

The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has promised to help boost the infrastructure at Duase primary School.

Some projects at the school, which are being constructed by government, have been neglected for sometime.

Kojo Bonsu, the Kumasi Mayor, during a visit to the school, expressed grave concern about the neglect of the projects.

He gave assurance that he would act quickly to make funds available to complete the abandoned projects.

Kojo Bonsu, who was accompanied by some Assembly members in the city, was at the school to welcome newcomers as part of 'My First Day At School' programme.

The Kumasi Mayor told the children that education would help them to become influential people in society in future.

He therefore urged the pupils to always attend school and listen attentively to their teachers, especially during classes hours.

Kojo Bonsu entreated the teachers of the school to exercise utmost patience when deal-ing with the kids.

He also urged the teachers to train them to be respectful, hard working and obedient.

Describing the pupils as the future lead-ers of the country, Mr Bonsu also admonished the teachers to always show love to the kids.

Mr Bonsu, after the interaction, presented exercise books, drinks, biscuits and toffees to the children to make them feel happy at school.
