Introducing Living Health TV’s Area Doctor (1st Online Pidgin English Educational Health Show) And Health 101

I am particularly happy to address esteemed members of the Press here present today as I formally unveil our online health programmes: Area Doctor and Health 101.

I am especially delighted with what we have achieved with Area Doctor, the first of its kind anywhere in world. It is the first online Pidgin English educational health show with the aim of educating and mobilizing a huge percent of Nigerians citizenry to make critical and informed health choices.

Livinghealth TV is the brain child of the Livinghealth International of which I am the Chief Executive Officer. There is a huge gap in finding authoritative easy-to-understand, “tropicalized” health information online. This is what Livinghealth TV is designed to address. We are committed to presenting authoritative heath information as simple as possible.

This will no doubt bridge the gap between the common man and Health Information which is crucial in addressing topical health issues e.g the current Ebola Virus Disease crisis. There is no doubt that given the huge population of the country such a platform will come in handy in addressing both serious and minor health challenges which a lot of our citizenry are grappling with.

We currently have 8 episodes available with topics covered including Ebola (in English and Pidgin), Family Planning, Smoking, Constipation, Preparing for a visit to your doctor, Jedijedi, and Antibiotic abuse.
